Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Somewhat atypical, but impressive. Blue fruit, balsamic vinegar, mushrooms and herbs. Very fine mouthfeel.

What a superbly balanced wine. Still in great shape with lovely rounded fruit. The balance in this wine with acidity, tanins and a medium to long finish is superb

Sour cherries, wet dirt, roses. Very delicious! Reminder I should drink more Tuscan wines.

1997. This bottle didn't age too well but I enjoyed it a few times when it was younger.

Notes of plum, cherry and spice as it opens up. Hint of burnt orange mid palate with soft enveloping tannins, elegant linger and finish.
