I’m such a tremendous fan of these wines. Every single detail here is absolutely first class, without any unnecessary pretense. Dense and delicious, cut flower aromatics, baking spice, rich plum and opulent everything. Get on board.

@Delectable Wine this is the Syrah from Hoffman Dallwitz "Our first 10 years" Syrah from Sami Odi. It was not in the database.
A nose of rose petals, dirty raspberry, cherry cola, blueberry. This nose is 9.6 alone. Palate is massive. And young. Finishes with a toasted oak tannin and peppercorn. Convinced by @Shay A to open this one tonight and was definitely not disappointed!! Didn't take much convincing!

The 2016 Hoffman Dallwitz is another stunner....great nose, rich with balanced smooth tannins.....just great!!

Inky purple, olive brine, violet, mineral. A big wine but still in balance 😋
