1996. Such fine wine. Poured blind it was widely assumed to be top-producer Gevrey, Morey, Ech, or even Vosne in perhaps an off-ish vintage. Awesome wine, particularly for the price. Acquired at auction for $14.

Very nice Pinot from Saintsbury. Aromatics are earthy, dark red fruits, cardamom spice and some cherry cola. Great mouthfeel and perfectly medium finish.
