This definitely needs a couple more years to fully develop and open up. Great QPR! Lots of dark fruits and solid tannins

Fuuuuuuuuumey! 15.3% abv. Smells like dry-erase marker and a dark berry thing. Tastes pretty ginormous. Hot.

Bright purple in the glass with a beautiful sheen. I have not tasted one in a few years, but it is holding up surprisingly well. The tannins and alcohol are starting to get only slightly muted, but the fruit is robust with plums and cherries and there is a deep earthiness to the follow through. A great price for a solid wine from a fantastic producer.

More jammy up front at PnP than 07. Settled in nicely though. Nose of blackberries. Tastes of blackberry, black raspberry, dark cherry. Some cocoa and graphite notes and spicy black pepper at the finish. Great tannins still there at the end.

Lovely petit Verdot. Drinking nicely but ending it’s run, I think. Maybe a few more years. Cocoa powder and Deep red cherry and a touch of plum. White pepper in the middle and nice punch of black pepper and light tannins at the finish.

Nose of dried fruit and cedar. Tastes of plums and dried cranberries and dried apricots, currants, and big lasting tannins.

Absolutely delicious. Big, chewy, yummy. Deep red fruit and tobacco flavor with significant mellow tannins throughout. So good!
