Oct 21st, 2015Manure/fertilizer, wood and cherry on the nose. Mild Brett, and strong woody tannins, a little rough. Past its prime. EDIT: tasted again an hour later, all of the sharp one dimensional characteristics blew off and it's quite enjoyable now. 👍

2009 vintage barely visible at bottom... Lovely expression of Sangiovese. Wild fruit and flowers: cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and violet flavors, all encapsulated in a humidifier full of premium cigars. Requires 30-45 minutes of aeration.
