15 years on and quite lovely. A touch of VA but not offensive. Stewed cherries, chalk and dried herbs.

Almost 20 years old. One of my first collectible wines from college. Doesn’t taste as good as I remember but that probably has more to do with me than the wine.

Pretty dark fruit. Nice earth with moderate complexity. Great acid. Tannins mild and subtle. Iron flowers and meat. Med plus concentration and still has life to live. Had a glass a WEEK ago and finished the bottle tonight and still consistent flavor. Has life to live or drink now. Some sediment.

(2001) Chianti Classico features an earthy, smoky bouquet overlaying elegant spices, a fruity Sangiovese core and hints of chocolate.
