Huge, bombastic nose of jam compote and soft oak.
On the palette, this is rich and dense. Ultra ripe mouthfeel, with balance and precision. Finishes with maraschino cherries and coffee notes. WOTN, but only just!

My third bottle of the ‘13, this one about a year after my last. Each time it gets better. Fruit is big and ripe, black and blue. Tannins smooth. Structure is solid. Nice long finish. A short decant is still recommended.

Last of the Rudius tasting,
At this point Knockmore # 1
Farella #2 Kaley Elizabeth #3 & Panek # 4, all 2013's except for the Knockmore 2012. maybe with a few years of bottle age it will change 🤷♂️ but for now I would only buy Knockmore & Farella again.
Its not bad just not distinctive with so many other Cabernets out there in this price range,
