Needed 60 to 90 minutes of air to open up - initially with some funk that blew off - eventually black tea, barbecued meat and stewed blackberry and plums came out.

Ripe fruits, wet rocks, petrichor, grilled mushrooms, dried herbs. Notes of ripe plum on the palate. Unlike most Priorat, it's only 25% Grenache. The rest comes from Samsó (Carignan), Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot which explains the amount of tannins left even after sitting in the bottle for 16 years. Macadamia and marzipan on the finish. Give it at least 1 hour in a decanter.

Yum. This is the second or third time I've had this wine and each time it has been immensely enjoyable. Super dark red color bordering on black. Almost port like knows yet still super super fresh. Loads of fruit loads of character long Supple silky finish. Remarkable
