Ripe and soft will full citrus and floral spice aromas. Flavors, fresh green fruits with mineral notes and some zest on the finish, nice and refreshing. Great now.

Here it is Friday again and we have to go into the weekend on a positive note. I will have to go to my tried and true Loire Valley in France. I am trying a Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is very expressive with notes of apricot, pineapple, grapefruit, fresh cut grass, lemon notes and a nice minerality. On the palate I am getting strong notes of fresh melon, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, vanilla and the minerality continues through. There is a long fresh finish that makes this worth coming back for more.

A delicious Sancerre! Honeydew, citrus notes, wet stone and a bit of pepper. Crisp acidity and would pair well with shellfish.

More zippy and acidic than most Sancerres. Lime and stone qualities. I loved it but wasn’t Tammy’s favorite (more Pinot Grigio than Sancerre to her) Great by itself but got lost against rhe Mexican food we had for team dinner — Levi’s team dinner

Lovely floral bouquet, yet opens to to a fairly dry and well balanced sip. Great with seafood.
