Fine ruby, black cherry with an earthy note, dry, still good tannins and maturing gracefully. Good expressive dark fruits and espresso coffee on palate.

Yum! Love these Pinot noir wines from Central Otago, New Zealand. It is amazing how they are able to maintain this vibrant acidity under these hot arid conditions during the summer. What this heat does do, however, it provides this burnt earth under note to the fresh red fruit. Grippy finish with fine grained, but very present tannins. From 2016! This wine is very well crafted and disappeared way too fast!!

This is my new go-to pinot. Dark brooding and spicy. Very Gibbston Valley in character - almost up to Valli or Gibbston Valley single vineyard bottlings, but at half the price this is a strong buy.

Very pleasantly surprised. Could be the Paloma wash down factor but first time I agree with bottle description of black cherry, mocha/vanilla; not a forest floor in sight. This might be at its peak performance. Good pull.

Really struggle to find a pinot with a pH over 6, but this one is a box ticker. Soft, low acid, mild tannins and a decent finish. The Tasmanians could learn a lot from this drop instead of producing the garbage they produce. Will buy again.

This is a very masculine and fantastic Pinot. Don’t let the rating from one crazy person deter you. Solid 89-91 rating.
