Definitely one of the older chards I’ve had, and the first Rochioli I’ve had. Knowing that it’s 18yrs Old, you aren’t expecting acidity and certain fruit flavors, but this actually had some nice secondary notes. Amber in the glass. Nuttiness wasn’t apparent, but soft fruits came in to play. For me, it was mainly honeyed pear. Would love to try newer vintages.

Heads up out there..can't return it with being on mailing list, but everyone be aware . Be careful! Wine is gone. The book I am reading is Good though, Days of Rage! A Pike Logan Thriller. CB

Light gold color with cloudy appearance. Lemon fruit on nose but feels thick and flabby in the mouth. Clarity and acidity are lacking. Not “my cup of tea”.

2013 at Christmas 2020. This is a well-balanced, big wine with some pear and peach. This has miles to go! Oak was prominent when young but fully integrated now. One of the 10 best chard I had all year.
