The Reserve To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

+1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A remarkable dark ruby red color. On the nose: subdued notes of dark fruit, floral, menthol, loamy soil, tobacco leaf. Taste: silky,smooth wine with dark plum/cherry, dark chocolate, dried herbs, crushed rocks, and a cedar tobacco medium plus little astringent finish.

We had the 2015 Vintage on 5/11-12/25. Scents and tastes of blackberry, blueberry, plum and cassis. Some mocha. A terrific Napa floor wine. Fruit forward, full bodied.

Great vintage for this. Sweet overripe black fruit. Fine tannins.

Savory nose. Crushed violet and charcuteries, classic and classy Napa wine.

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, forest floor, oak. On the palate, oak, dark berry, earthiness.

Has improved immensely This makes for an excellent value for a To Kalon wine.

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark cherry, plum, cocoa powder, anise and tobacco. On the palate, tobacco, plum, dark cherry liqueur, and dark chocolate. Complex and elegant layers. Medium to full body with still very present tannins. Long finish.
