Purchased on the cruise for $66.00 ($38.94 with discount) for lunch and Sabor, the mexican restaurant.

Medium ruby red with garnet edges. Seemed a bit older on the nose with notes of forest floor and dried black cherries. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Notes of burnt spices, cinnamon, wood, dark raspberries and leather on the palate. Dry medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2021

Last had this bottle about a year ago. Reading that note I don't think I gave it enough air. I let it sit in the glass for 90+ minutes this time. Muted dark fruit on the nose, silky mouthfeel and nice medium long finish with the good kind of tannins. Now I am sad I don't have more as I think there is room to improve.

Acidity high and out of balance. Thinner than the 2012 I had recently. Just ok.
