Gotta love Howell Mtn Zin! Great fruit, structure, and balance. EtOH pokes out a bit and it could use another 2-5 years in the cellar but otherwise fantastic.

Outstanding Zin. Excellent balance with refreshing acidity. Blackberry jam, cooked strawberry, red plums, liquorice, cherry, cloves and vanilla. Long finish.

Anything from Howell Mountain is good, Robert Craig makes it great. I am not really a Zin fan, prefer cabs, but this Zin had great body and intensity. I would highly recommend.

Nice mix of red and black raspberries with a spice tinged finish. Not jammy or overtly sweet, and leaning toward the full-bodied end of the spectrum. Distinct from Black Sears’ own Zinfandel.
