Such a complex, aromatic nose and silky soft texture. Allspice, rhubarb, dead leaves, black tea. I just love the Ampeau style.

This took quite some time to open up. It started off a bit awkward and then really blossomed over the next few hours. Some fruit there along the way but mostly secondary notes of game and funk. This is nice and ready to drink.

Yes soft and very approachable nose dark cherries and great acidity fruit still totally accessible. Nice acidity l. Minor notes of oxygen and prunes. This baby might not have hit its apex yet!

1991 fresh and fruity. Nosediment at all. Lovely.

Not a bad little wine at 23 years of age. If you have any, don't wait too long.

Roses strawberries and ass. Yummy!

Damp wet earth, mushrooms, and beef broth. Fascinating how this has held up.
