Rosella's Vineyard Syrah

Fantastic fruit but doesn't over do it. Still some single vineyard characteristics poking through!

2021 vintage. Medium-heavy body. This was banging. White and black pepper flourishes on the massive finish. Excellent fruit. Drink now or in the next decade if you want the body electric reduced to body candlelight. 8.21.24.

Big and rich but harmonious. Probably was at its peak a year or two ago but still in a good spot.

Excellent Cali Syrah with good dark red fruits earth and fall leaves with firm yet almost sweet palate and texture and long finish. Great pairing with Wilson’s pork butt goulash.

Ripe and rich blue nose. Sweet, but clear on the palate. Not hugely complex and a bit bludgeoning.

Needs to open up some more but on initial pour it's pretty impressive.

2005 vintage is still deep purple and strong. Opens up over hours and gets better.

Very good with a strong finish

Must have been flawed...or at least I hope so. Not noticeable on the nose but the wine was completely flat and dead.
