Asili Vecchie Viti Barbaresco Nebbiolo

This was big, opulent & structured showing a perfumed nose of dark cherry & berry fruits, spices, balsamic, dried herbs, mineral & flowers.

Decanted for two hours, color translucent red, with a slightly brown tinge, nose has leather deep red berries, roses, light balsamic notes, mint... taste is delicious with a tiny tannic grip, but also soft and fullfiling. This is my best wine from Luca so far. Vintage 2009 rocks!

Massively structured & youthful needs a min of 5-10 more yrs with dark cherry, balsamic, tar & rose petal.

Great tar and floral, but fruit fills in with time along with tannin.
