Showing some alcohol and lots of fruit but still mostly in balance and easy to drink.

This is going to be a stunner in 10 more years

Dark garnet coloration. On the nose, cherry, balsamic, eucalyptus and minerals. On the palate, cherry, balsamic, eucalyptus/mint and minerals. Long finish of same. Tannins are rather mellow after 15 years. Revisited the following day- on the nose, strawberry, herbs, florals, balsamic. On the palate, strawberry, florals, eucalyptus/mint/clove /spice, balsamic, minerals and long finish. Nicely balanced tannins.

Still tight. Wait another 10 years. At Del Popolo with Steph and Ryan

This is spectacular and built for the future. Needs a 2 hr decant, but once it has breathed it punches you square in the face with strawberry compote, earl grey tea, earth, and dusty fine tannin. Exceptional balance. Integrated. In 10 yrs this will be monumental.

Very shy nose. Amazing balance and perfectly integrated fine tanin dominate. So harmonious that it is almost impossible to decipher individual flavour elements.

The alcohol is still too present, but the lovely black licorice and floral elements are enough to already make this a great Barbaresco. In a couple of years it should balance out perfectly.
