Too young but drinkable now. Balanced and very long. Try around 2025.

Didn’t get to decant and out of wine fridge .. wine was v tight . Needed a bit of air for sure . Dry and big !

Trots förvarningar poppade jag denna som nog borde legat orörd minst tio år till. Inte helt drickmogen men redan nu ger den en hel del. Riktigt härlig doft. Fyllig, koncentrerad med gamla världen-elegans. Vinbär, blyerts, exotiska kryddor, tobak, kaffe osv. Riktigt lång avslut. Värd att återbesöka, som förvarnat. Värd 1800 kr = inte än på några år.

Not MonteBello. Slow O’d for 3 hours. Double decanted an hour before dinner. Terrific wine. Layered and complex. Long. Also enjoyed with Bistecca Fiorentina.

Obviously too young but wanted to try to see where this may go. Classic Santa Cruz Mountains acidity. Needs 6hr decant for nose to give anything at all but then it’s quite nice/classic. . Beautiful snappy fruit and medium body. Raspy tannins at back end but good with food. If you have to drink now, try 12 hr decant. Will check in again in 2027.

May 17th, 2020Purchased at Wallys. High in alcohol and acidity - needs to be decanted. Dark fruits and tobacco on the nose. Juicy, tobacco, vanilla, spices on the palette. Nice tannins and acidity. Long finish.
