From a mini vertical of Monte Bello at a friend’s house. This 08 is easily the most concentrated of the 06, 07, 08. A bit of lemony oak is still yet to integrate on the nose, but all the components are there. Best concentration of the bunch. The fruit is rich and pure and the tannins and acids are really in nice balance. Give this 5 more years.

Fresh and very pure. Animal with a dark sour blue tangy fruit. Lovely intensity. Lean and muscular and excellent. Fresh. Wow

Epic bottle!! Had the '74 MB twice in the past year. Both were killer expressions of MB. Makes me proud to be an American. One of the finest Cabs I've ever had. Precise lines, pure fruit, exotic tertiary aromatics. Well worth the $ and trouble to find.
