This surprised me. The fruit here wasn’t as sweet as expected. Black peppercorn spice and tart black cherry pie. I think this is actually young and could go quite the distance.

Love these wines. 2010, shows a ton of fruit but not overripe at all. Wine still has a bunch of time. Listed as a petit Syrah blend, probably should say a Zinfandel blend. Think it is 63%

Early times yet for this bottle. The pieces are all there, but not yet knit into the seamless whole that these get with a few more years inn the cellar. Easy to drink, but will give so much more in five years.

Loved the brambles and berries from the Zin, great acidity. Took some time to really open up, this should hold up for quite a while.

Great wine. Good color intensity, dark cherries, spices, cigar box and Back fruit notes. Good complexity and extraordinary length with Well tamed tannins. Ridge always delivers
