What a delicate Petite Sirah!!!! Nommy, cool vintage. Rocking.

Absolute bombshell of a nose, like dipping your nose into a freshly baked blackberry tart, dripping with sweetness, succulent fruit, and a golden crust. In the mouth it's much less decadent, structured big tannins and a bit of pepper. A bit bummed the nose didn't carry over but it's good wine.

Dusty earth, with minimal fruit at this point. Nose hints hinting at blue fruit that has since faded.

For when you need to convert someone to Petite Sirah

deep appearance but more mellow on nose. irony, followed by floral. m+tannin adds to body. decanting needed. otherwise floral is too closed up

Paired with bacon-wrapped smoked turkey.
