Wow!! So bright and fresh with great lift from the well balanced acid. The nose is fresh flowers(something purple, lilac?), while the palate is red fruit leading to herbs, with an earl grey finish. Tannins still holding strong. In contrast to the Contra Costa this is so much lighter and brighter. — 3 years ago
Still fruit forward on the palate with some pencil lead and wood coming right behind the impressions. Tannins are nicely integrated. Still in a great drinking window. — 3 years ago
Impressed by the overall performance of this wine. Very fruit forward and integrated tannins. — a year ago
This is not surprisingly in need of a nice 6-8 decant here as the tannic structure isn’t ready for prime time, but a great choice for any night. — 2 years ago
Lovely dark maroon color. Floral nose with hints of Provençal herbs leads to dark cherries finishing with a hint of reduction. Great fruit and smooth integrated tannins. Drink now. — 3 years ago
Dry on the palate with earth notes up front, however dried cherries and plum are still strong. Really enjoyable, and aging well. — 3 years ago
Decanted for 4 hours, but clearly@not long enough. Muted dark fruit with soil joined by a strong tannic background that just never came together. — a year ago
This is a nice rosé, muted nose from the cold serving temp, with a nice mid-palate strawberry note, but strong can tomato finish. Expensive and just not impressed here. — 2 years ago
Herbaceous tea and toasted almonds wrapped in a dry package with ample acid, all begging for salty fried food. — 3 years ago

Fantastic. Makes you want to pursue more wines of this quality. Here is a nose of dark fruit, roasted meat and a noticeable oil based funkiness. The wjne is so smooth and wonderful. — a year ago
