Pronounced raspberry and red fruit, steely tannins, slight oak influence with an earth driven, forest floor, menthol finish. Graphite, precise and pure palate profile.

Balanced and silky, fruit and modest tannin, not as heavy as many Zins. 2020 vintage tasted at the winery.

An impromptu Ridge night paired with eggplant pasta. Wine #1 is the Boatman - great blueberry pie fruit with enough acidity and grip to not be a bomb. Quite good

Apologies for the succulents that appear to be growing in the glass...though there is a hint of green olive/tapenade in this. Tar and strawberry as well. Pretty nice, overall. Thinking would be excellent around 2023.
