Smells like sunshine. Big ripe and macerated cherries. Earth and mineral. Smells vast like 15 can be. Palate is super ripe but balanced, fresh and pure. Stoney like tannins and great concentration. This is a very serious wine. Great freshness, balance and length. Very structured and has years to go. I’d wait 3 years for next bottle.

Mar 16th, 2020What a huge 2015 success. Lovely nose of big cherry, cassis, crushed stones and so much intense minerality. Floral as well with lavender and mashed violets. Intense and gorgeous. Palate is just a fruit bomb. Amazingly concentrated yet elegant as well with huge rich cherry fruit that is so sweet and gorgeously defined. Wonderful acidity and freshness. Best showing yet.

Sometimes this is exactly what you want. Nose with a hint of licorice. Solid sweet fruit on the palate. Well balanced with that hint of cranberry on the finish. Went great with veal heart Ragu and veal tongue with lentils. I feel like I'm in France or Italy. Whatever.

Elegant and round on the palate with nice structure and super stoney minerals. Nice length. Great sweetness already. As it opens more fruit complexity starts to show. Needs hours. Will revisit.
