Judging from reviewers of pre-2015 vintages, I was pleasantly surprised by my first sip. Just decanted and let it sit a few minutes - dark berry, earthy backdrop and spice on the nose. I like a fuller bodied #chianti like this. It has an interesting zing on the tip of the tongue, a bit drier but still #sangiovese classic fruit-forward character. We're looking forward to enjoying this with fresh ravioli in Alfredo sauce.
