Reserve Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon

Nose: Maple syrup, caramel popcorn, prosciutto, stewed fruits

Dried porcini mushrooms once rehydrated.


Finish: spicy and vegatle.

Tannins are so beautiful. Velvety with a from finish.

An interesting relic of the pre-Beinstock era at Renaissance. Nose has currants, cedar, pine resin, tar and woodsmoke. Palate still flashes that familiar sweet red and black fruit up front but quickly enveloped in gobs of thick gauzy tannins. Still drinkable with food but time grows short

Violets and chocolate/ red fruit on the nose. Good balance, with drying oak and deep iron fruit. Lovely flavor profile with wild herbs and really well preserved fruit. The flavor zone of ridge but without the structure. Very good and an amazing story behind the vineyard

Brambley aromas and flavors...med-full body, moderate tannins. Ripe blackberry acidity. This wine is very much standing up straight.

Probably a bad bottle????

Notes of mint and licorice

Somewhat pruney and sweetness in the nose but filled out nicely with air

Deep, rich, black currant, licorice and blackberry. Lots of power and concentration.
