1 person found it helpfulAug 3rd, 2015Loved the 2014 at the barrel tasting earlier this year. Dark ruby with a dark purplish core. Nose started off a little stinky with some cheese but then opened up with some dark fruits, black berries, baking spices, savory notes and woody undertones. Thick and extracted on the palate, coated with lovely dark fruits, especially black with some light dryness in the finish. Heavy tannins (8/10), full bodied and long finish. One of our favorite Napa Valley Cabernet Francs. Drink till 2030.

Oct 10th, 2016Red fruit, cherry, cranberry, ripe strawberry, floral, pine needles, wet earth and chocolate covered cherries. M- acid, m body, m+ tannin. Great structure and balance but very young. Give it some more time.

Mar 1st, 2016Rich and powerful, this displays the more fruit forward style of cab Franc that I enjoy. Black cherries, vanilla, spices. This is quite tannic and could use some serious decanting or a little more time in the cellar. But so good right now that it will be hard to keep your hands off it.
