Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch. Light, fragrant, fresh. Great summer cookout red. More please.

As another user pointed out, I think I’d prefer this in a lighter style. It is on the med / med- side but would be better lighter I think.

Nice Pinot blended with Blaufrankisch - bright cherry light tannins and smooth fruit forward finish that lingers longer than you’d expect.

Nose has cranberry sauce, red Twizzler® candy, white pepper, ripe plum, mashed red raspberry and lightly toasted oak.

Palate has ripe cherry, ripe red raspberry, fresh cranberry, light ripe plum with mild (drying) tannins and a medium finish.

Cork pulled for a 4H slow oxidation, then 1H decant. This wine is still a teenager, the 2016 should easily hold thru 2024.

Blend of Pinot Noir & Blaufränkisch.

Paired to lemon chicken in a dill cream sauce; cast iron pan from stove top to oven, becoming our most versatile piece of cookware!

Beautiful soft cranraspberry color. Dusty dried red fruits on the nose with subtle harvest pie spices. Cranberry wine! I didn’t know that Oceanspray produced wine LOL!

Cherub

Blend of Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch creates a slightly darker color with black cherry on the palate. Works well with pork chops. March 2024.

60 and sunny. Perfect deck wine. Has a lot of Pinot characteristics,; light, candy- like cherry. Very nice.

Heavy black cherry / cranberry in this Pinot Noir / Blaufrankisch blend. Not your light Pinot if you are expecting that. May 2023.
