Located halfway up the hill dominating principal valley of Barolo, lined by vineyards, lies a precious 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruits and fresh floral scents. On the palate the palate dried cherry, tobacco, licorice, espresso and fresh herbs give this full-body wine grace and elegance. Soft fine dusty tannins on a well balanced frame makes this hot vintage wine approachable today as well as have room to run over the next decade.

Smooth, silky, flavorful, and flexible enough to pair with pasta, meat, and heavier seafood dishes.

Beautiful pairing with a local wine dinner tonight

First 2017 barolo and they are definitely open for business. Took 30 minutes and some food pairing to calm down the grippy tannins. Ripe red fruits, almost candied. Very floral. Elegant and a great wine for a late summer evening.

Excellent Barolo. Complex smooth with some mineral earthiness and with some tart red fruit.

Loved this! Vikrant’s house for farewell. Red fruits, leather, vanilla, oak. Super silky with grippy tannins. Don’t remember the rest bc I was drunk, but I think high alcohol and acidity but felt super balanced
