Inviting, with lilting sweet aromas of baked apple, white peach, lemon curd and spring flowers. On the palate the 2014 Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris is equally tender and round, held aloft by a delicate vein of acidity that provides just enough lift. This is a delicate, pretty Gris that reminds me of early spring. Medium length finish. 13.5% ABV | Sample

Great poached pear fruit, lovely acid. I could drink a bucket of this!

The nose is creamy with lots of tropical fruit notes. A lush ripe pineapple is huge on the nose. The palate presents only a slight acidity but has more of a creamy mid palate with a very soft finish.

A glass of Pinot Gris from my friends Annie and Scott to take the chill off this Minneapolis day? Absolutely!

Nice nectarine and white peach flavors, not fully ripe notes with stronger puckering acid/tartness. Good mineral notes help balance it out. Hits lots of good notes but doesn’t fully harmonize into something more than its individual parts. Could be interesting with a couple more years in the bottle to see if it develops some richer depth.

Returned to this one tonight while out with friends. Paired very well with a chopped salad and grilled shrimp.
