Ramey Wine Cellars
Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay

Green olive, tart apple, bright, citrus, dried apricot, oaky, a touch green, perhaps underripe? Great acidity! Really a sensational wine. Served at a few degrees above cellar. 🍷🍷

Effervescent. That was interesting. I also got some stainless or perhaps just plain old metal. Medium in body.

Following winemaking posts at Rudd, Dominus, Chalk Hill and Matanzas Creek, David Ramey and his wife, Carla began their own label in 1996. Straw with aromas of sweet stone fruits with citrus notes and honey scents. On the palate ripe apple, peach and apricot flavors with toasty oak, creamy. Lingering smooth finish, energetic, ending with earthy notes. Delicious!

Beautiful evening to enjoy this delicious wine. I feel it will be even better in a couple years.
