There was not a lot on the nose with this bottle to be. Hints of cherries and a cedar box maybe. But on the palate nice notes of leather and tobacco and a touch of spice and cherries. This is a good movie night wine. Easy to drink. Medium body so not over whelming. #spain #quintanadecue #temptanillo

It’s got a meaty nose, somewhat musty, like a wet old basement (which isn’t bad), with notes of cranberry on the nose, some dark plum DEEP in there, and some slight tinned tomato like notes. Medium bodied, with slight tannin, spicy tingle, with tomato, tar, cigar smoke and charcoal on the finish. I haven’t had a Spanish Tempranillo in a while and I’d say this is a pleasant re-introduction to the grape varietal.

Aug 17th, 2020Super woody and earthy. Incredible rustic notes and wild berry tastes with a soft, but dusty tannin structure.

Nice full body , alot of earthy tones, black berry and cherry not too fruity and a smooth long finish with barely a hint of tannin.

Revisit, new vintage.
Weighty, plum, currant, licorice.
Tobac, pine shavings. A good wine, with both depth, structure, and long chewy plank finish. Tasty.
