There was not a lot on the nose with this bottle to be. Hints of cherries and a cedar box maybe. But on the palate nice notes of leather and tobacco and a touch of spice and cherries. This wine just seems to get better. Classic Rioja in the glass. Dark cherry, smokey oak, vanilla and black pepper. Well balanced with a long finish. This should age well for another 5-7 years.
