Tricked me into thinking it was something else. Which means it’s out of its league. Great wine. Herbal start, reminiscent of nuanced mountain Napa cabs and then finished old world like something Spanish, like rioja.

Floral and very dry. A bit too austere.

Great dark baked fruit and baking spices. Herbaceous sage/Rosemary notes. Pencil lead & chocolate. Awesome wine.

My first single varietal duoro and i have to say i absolutely love touriga nacional. As an austrian i have to say this reminds me very much of a super-fine Blaufränkisch. Blackberry, herbs, pepper notes together with very well integrated oak. Super lively minerality. Overall very complex, balanced, long.

Yummy stone fruit, mint and guava. A bit phenolic and round, but still enjoyable.
