A disconcerting note of wet wool on the nose is distracting, but in the mouth the wine has lovely cassis, blackberry and plum fruit. Atyptical for this property which usually has more balance and fruit intensity.

Nice aroma and approach but lacking intrigue. Lots of oak across the wine from nose to palate to structure. Besides some deep fruit there's some earth and spice aromas below that I want to be more evident.

Capa y densidad alta, en nariz poca potencia, fruta negra madura, notas balsámicas y cacao. En boca buena entrada, goloso y con un final quizás demasiado ligero.

Great value. Concentrated red and mostly dark fruit with very fine tannins. Liquorice and balsamic notes, very fresh, good texture and length

The most aromatically complex of the bunch. Portugal continues to over deliver for the price

Great Pop n' Pour, although a touch too oaky for my own tastes. Like drinking a Godiva cherry cordial.

Nice stuff, showing opulence and sweet tannins, loads of dark berries and spice flavors. Internationally styled but fairly true to its origin.

Fruits from the highest part of the Douro, an elegant wine - this sub region is the hottest, driest and stretches to the Spanish border, it produces some of the finest wines from the region

Getting serious. Mocha, coffee, vanilla and dark berries.

Pretty much as expected! Dark purple color. Restrained nose of oak and blackberry. Wine was tight but opened up and paired nicely with our steaks. The texture is the highlight as it is pure velvet. Lacked depth and fruit, but not terrible.
