Jan 15th, 2022Dark nose. Smoke, dark berries, hint of mineral, leather and bittersweet cocoa. Hint of dog chow as well. Smells nice but a hint of blockiness. Palate is ok. Kind of all over the place. Decent freshness. Let down from the nose. Good tannins but also heat. Decent fruit but dirty I think.

Full, balanced, and complex but with finesse and clarity, it had lots of cranberries, cherries, sweet spice, and after 30 minutes open, revealed a super refreshing minerally finish. More, please.
