Today I killed a baby. Rudi's wines are built for the long haul. This has beautiful concentration of raspberry and blackberry fruit with tremendous mineral definition highlighted by earthy depth, but the acidity need some serious time to integrate. If you have any bottles sit on them for at least a few years. I won't open another for 5-8.

I was surprised how much I liked this, as I tend to like a lighter style of PN. This was just well fleshed out. Checks off all the boxes. I'd be interested to see some older examples.

Deep purple ruby, red cherry, black fruits and spicy aroma.Concentrated but not sweet fruitfulness. Dry, mid + vibrant acidity. Serious, and need much more time to enjoy silky texture and its elegance. Old world style w new world fruitfulness and high volume.

Nice Pinot! Not over the top but full of fruit (not thin) no hard edges nice finish. Very balanced and enjoyable! Screw cap

Ruby, moderate color density. Nose of wood smoke, graphite/char, brown spices, fruitcake/plums. Concerns emerge on the palate with significant CO2 and a firm to the point of distracting texture. Seems a little green/stemmy on the finish. Refermenting?
