Cody Wright just keeps nailing it. Wonderful aromas of sweet spices, dark cherries and barnyard funk. Cherry, mushroom and herb flavors. Beautiful balance and acidity. Long finish. Love this producer.

2 people found it helpfulJun 12th, 2016Founded by Cody and Marque Wright, yes that family of the great Ken Wright Pinot’s very nice small production Pinot, 11 mos French oak (40% new). Ruby with aromas of red fruits and earthy spices. On the palate youthful flavors of cherry and raspberry, cacao and licorice notes with elegant spice. Fine rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral notes. Good value!

1 person found it helpfulAug 25th, 2020We had the 2015 Vintage on 4/17-18/20. A delicious wine with tastes of cherry, blackberry and a mild earthy spice. A terrific representative of an Oregonian Pinot Noir. A medium purple color. Medium bodied with a good finish. My kind of wine.

Raspberry fruit with cinnamon spice, and hints of orange and graphite. Bracing acidity, bordering on tartness. Less fruit forward and more Burgundian in style than 2015 vintage, which was more fruit driven.

Fruit was not as dominant as prior vintages and body was extremely light. Wine was a bit weak and watery. My disappointment is most likely due to my high expectations of this producer.
