Vintage 2015 / I gave this 3 hours in Decanter and this Alto Piemonte wine needs it. Earthy smell, very refined and elegant taste. This is a Burgundian style. Made from 65% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina and 15% Croatina.

For me, this is quite possibly one of the best QPR’s for the year. Fresh, zippy, perfectly ripened fruit with minerals and the sort of “je ne sais quoi” that leaves you bewitched. Finish is long enough. So pure. Incredible accompaniment with a variety of meals. I want to have cases and cases of this. Alas, distribution here is scarce.

Rose petals and cedar on the nose. Tannins are rounding nicely. Red and black fruits, will gain complexity with age. Excellent choice from Alta Piemonte
