Straight from the cellar, nose is somewhat reticent, if a bit floral. Juicy dark cherries, iron, rosemary, earth and spice/white pepper. Medium acidity with just enough tannic backbone to lengthen the finish. — 25 days ago

First red wine at Table #3 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.
Deep garnet red. Lots of earthy and cherry notes on the nose. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Layered palate with dark berries, dark crushed rocks, black pepper, and bell peppers. Solid acidity with a long and lingering finish. Definitely will beef up with some time and a big food wine. Drink till 2029.
