A lovely Nebbiolo, full of red fruit, rose petals and wet earth.

Great with food. Really needs food to go with it.

Found this on the menu at our neighborhood restaurant. What a steal! On the nose: prune + manure (in the very best way!) Cocoa essence on the palate.

Straight from the cellar, nose is somewhat reticent, if a bit floral. Juicy dark cherries, iron, rosemary, earth and spice/white pepper. Medium acidity with just enough tannic backbone to lengthen the finish.

Very rich but not heavy like a super Tuscan. Excellent for slightly lighter moods but not light as Pinot noirs. Great afternoon wine!
