Deep garnet red. Lots of earthy and cherry notes on the nose. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Layered palate with dark berries, dark crushed rocks, black pepper, and bell peppers. Solid acidity with a long and lingering finish. Definitely will beef up with some time and a big food wine. Drink till 2029.
Aged for 40 months in 50% new French oak barriques.

Really enjoyed this wine. Very ripe cab franc and smooth tannins and finesse. Fruit forward and would never guess alto Piemonte but it’s lovely.
