Amazing that you can get a wine of this quality and vintage for so little money. Great little primitivo. Not so full-bodied or fruity, but nicely integrated acidity with elegant flavours of black licorice and deep purple jam. Dried fig, without the sugar.

I'm a fan of primitivo. For the price point and year, this is very good. Kat says it's a bit too loud. What does she know anyways? She decides wine based on the label.

An interesting Primitivo. A bit too tartish on the finish, but it has a nice complexity and depth.
