Porto Quevedo
Colheita Port Blend
2000 Colheita, bottled in 2013. From a single Quinta Vale d'Agodinho. Touriga Franca (35%), Tinta Roriz (20%), Touriga Nacional (15%), Tinta Barroca (10%),Tinta Caô (8%),other varieties (12%). Amazingly dark colour for a tawny, looks more like an 18 years old vintage port. Still a lot of fruit, intertwined with the intense flowery notes I associate with Touriga Franca and a rather understated nutiness. The mouth confirms the amazing fruit this wine still shows after 13 years of cask ageing and 5 years in bottle. Great balancing acidity and long nutty finish. Impressive indeed. Highly recommended.
