I was excited to tuck into this kindly gifted sample of the Pommery 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs. It’s part of the Pommery 2021 World Collection retailing for about $110.
In the glass it’s a light yellow shade with mesmerisingly fast streaming bubbles. Citrus, custard, delicate pastries and creamy stonefruit come through for me. While in the mouth it has a super smooth texture. Wonderfully juicy and fruit driven.
