Brunello Montalcino Sangiovese

I think I caught this Brunello at the right time! So well rounded with fresh tannins.

Not what I had planned for St Patrick’s but we have to make do during a quarantine!

Very easy drinking Brunello. Simple, with dark berry flavor, not complex at all. $25 euro, would not get again.

Bright clean, nice aromatics. Soft mouthfeel with the bubbles. Thumbs up.

Solid brunello from a great vintage and a fantastic producer. I can't say enough good things about all of this. Just delicious.

Drank this at Carbone (at Sadelle’s, due to COVID indoor 25% capacity). Adored this, especially when paired with the amazing meal. Would like to try again to see how it stands alone

Strong finish

Fruity: black currant, plum, dark cherries. Medium minus acid. Slightly tannic on the front of the palate but then they smooth out. This wine isn’t overly structured. I like it but I feel an 09 should bring more to the table, literally and figuratively.
