Quick decant and this shows right out of the gate. Earthy nose of roasted herbs, smoke and crimini mushroom. Tannins still ripe and lengthy finish. Really wonderful.

Incredible for 2012...caught off by color, quite light and see thru with med ruby. Dark cherry, dried, leather and green tobacco with black tea. Med plus tannins, med acid. Alcohol high. Some oak present here with cinnamon and baking spices...Drank over two nites in nyc hotel when kids crashed! Delightful wine. Wife bought for me, couldn’t be better!
