Incredibly complex. Wow… Where to even begin? Quite fragrant: waxed golden apple, green pear, pepper, and lots of lemon rind. The lemon and wax continue when drunk, but the apple turns to pear with intense acid, cream and vanilla and a touch of honey. This wine has no idea what it wants to be, and that makes it fun as hell.

This is an OMG wine. Perfect pithy bitterness. Floral AND tropical. Easy slatey minerality distinct to the Marche, a region surrounding Ancona on the Adriatic side which has become my favorite for whites. This grape is called Pecorino and ironically will go astoundingly well with the cheese of the same name.

The Pecorino grape can yield some super delicious wine.

Floral- jasmin; medium- bodied with great acidity and a bit of honey and pear. Interesting and good! Minerality and a lingering finish. Supposedly it goes good with Marchegiani pecorino cheese, and is called pecorino because the little sheep ( pecorino) liked the grapes.

At Union. Burnt marshmallow-esque nose, not quite as sugary. Crisp dry taste. Reminded of godello
