Great with bacon & kale pasta, but showed the scorched character of 2003 when the food was gone. Almost Gewürztraminer like aromatics, resolved tannin and exoticism to spare in this bottle.

A red blend leaning towards the new world in style. Rich fruit, new oak but balanced nicely by the Nebbiolo component. Really enjoying this producer...

About 40% Nebbiolo; the rest PN, Syrah, and Merlot. I generally avoid non Italian grapes in Italian wines because I’m an Italian wine snob. There are hundreds of indigenous Italian grapes. Does everyone really want just the Pinots and Merlots? But this was quite good. A birthday gift from my kids. Fruity, some tannins - I can taste the Nebbiolo. Quite fruity.
